Another Reason to Hate Vista

Working on estimated taxes, and my printer refuses to print the 1040es form even on the second try and a reboot. The computer has saved this document but it does not open despite the variety of ways I have attempted to open it. Apparently I don’t need to file due to prior withholdings at my job, but I can’t even print out a record of this.

I have zero forgiveness for the billionaire right now, and am trying not to think about this. I think I will go for a long walk.

UPDATE

Turns out that it helps it BOTH monitors are on in a dual monitor configuration – that way you see the “print setup” popup window.

This still does not atone for approximately 15% of my software not working on Vista.
