Praying for Stem Cell Breakthrough

Just want to share some really cool stuff.

Drumthwacket mansionMy commute takes me through Princeton, the intellectual capital of New Jersey. The governor even lives in a mansion here, rather than in Trenton. I think it is really cool that I get to drive by his house and pray for this unsuspecting guy.

Jon Corzine is known best perhaps for his horrible accident in his governor’s vehicle about a year ago when he crashed at high speed without his seatbelt on, which seriously injured him. So I just pray for his continued recovery.

I also have been taking the liberty to confess over him that he is a defender of life and to build him up prophetically. Currently he has been a big time advocate of embryonic stem cell research, apparently even supporting it out of his own pocket. Doesn’t matter, since I am calling him forth as a defender of life and human dignity, and praying to God to help shape him in this way.

So a couple really cool things of late – in early November NJ voters apparently rejected funding for embryonic stem cell research. This amazed me because it is a state with enormous pharmaceutical and scientific research in its economy and a lot of people (myself included) work in that industry, and as such would tend not to possibly jeopardize our job standing by being outspoken against questionable forms of research that would destroy life. So that was really cool that the voters still rejected it.

Other amazing thing is that there has been a breakthrough such that adult stem cells can do even more amazing versatile stuff than they previously thought.

Just a day in the life. A cool commute, and sometimes I take a detour by that cemetery which is a lot of fun too.
