Michael Knight… A Lone Crusader on a Quest for Justice…

As if finally receiving Season 1 of DOH wasn’t good enough, I now have Season 1 of Knight Rider in my possession!

I watched the first episode yesterday, “Knight of the Phoenix” which is like Episode I of Star Wars in that it shows us how “Michael Long” is shot in the face and is resurrected into “Michael Knight” by Wilton Knight.

The creators of the show were not quite as astute as George Lucas, so they started the show off right at the beginning, instead of exploiting the mystery of Michael Knight’s origins in a later episode, as Lucas did with Darth Vader.

It has arrived.

Season 1 of my favorite TV show, circa 1979.

The Dukes of Hazzard.

It took 2 or 3 weeks shipping.

But it has arrived.

I reckon I may not be posting for awhile… got a hankerin’ fer some DVD watchin’ out yonder.

Thoughts on the ‘Hoff

My friend Molly has written an endearing acrostic to honor her personal feelings toward this great American actor and singer.

I could not resist the urge to warn her of a certain Internet Rumor with its origin back in the mid-90’s. I think many of the arguments have stood the test of time, personally.

The teaching is, “David Hasselhoff is the AntiChrist… and I have the Proof”. It uses numerology based upon the Revelation of John, and Psalms 37 (who knew “Baywatch” was in Psalm 37?) to prove these diabolical truths.

Now I don’t hold an M.Div or anything, but I take all such teachings seriously!

I also am pleased to say that I ebayed Season I of Knight Rider yesterday afternoon for total sum of just $17.50. Now I will finally get to find out who shot “Michael Long” and of the mysterious origins of KITT.
